Back by popular demand! Mornings at the Museum will feature a story and kid-friendly craft each Tuesday in July. This Tuesday learn all about the role dogs played in the the early fire service and why they are still so beloved by firefighters today. Due to space considerations you MUST RSVP for each individual program. RSVPs will be accepted starting June 5, 2017. Cost: $2 for each child. An adult must attend with the child. Geared to children 3-6.

Beaumont Fire Rescue firefighters will give a turnout gear demonstration and give kids a chance to interact with a firefighter in gear! This program is suggested for children ages 3-6. Beaumont Fire Rescue will bring out a fire truck for kids to explore! Designed for children ages 3-6; due to space considerations you must RSVP before the program. Let’s wish Smokey Bear a Happy, Happy Birthday! Meet Smokey at the Fire Museum of Texas and share some cake with everyone’s favorite bear. Learn what we can do to prevent wildfires and keep Smokey and his woodland friends safe. Smokey will be present and available for photo opportunities. Tour the museum and create decorate a birthday card for Smokey Bear at our hands-on stations.
Join us for our Annual Fire Prevention and Family Safety Festival! Learn important fire safe behaviors in a fun, relaxed, family friendly environment! Located on the grounds of the Fire Museum of Texas, we partner with Beaumont Fire Rescue and community partners to bring a fun filled FREE day for families to enjoy in Southeast Texas. Watch demonstrations, visit booths, bounce in the Kidz Zone and learn potentially life saving techniques. All activities, food and drinks are free for all in attendance.
Join us for an afternoon of fun at the Jefferson Theatre in Downtown Beaumont. We will be showing the animated classic, “Disney’s 101 Dalmatians (1961).” Share one of your favorite memories growing up with your own family and see this classic film on the big screen at the historic Jefferson Theatre! In celebration of the anniversary of the installation of the World’s Largest Working Fire Hydrant across from the Fire Museum of Texas we will be showing the film that started it all.
